Held at Strathmore University, Nairobi, the Blood Safe Symposium 2025 brought together researchers, policymakers, public health leaders, and private sector players to discuss blood safety across Africa.

CoBA presented a poster abstract highlighting our work to strengthen blood systems across Africa covering our partnerships, policy engagement, and systems-level advocacy. We were especially honored to be mentioned by the World Bank during their presentation, a recognition of the Coalition’s growing impact in shaping Africa’s blood future.
