Held in Kisumu County, the conference provided an excellent platform for CoBA to emphasize the importance of ensuring an adequate and safe blood supply for managing sickle cell disease and hemophilia. CoBA highlighted the critical need for blood donations to ensure a sufficient blood supply for all and played a pivotal role in shaping the conference agenda, which brought together patients, healthcare providers, policymakers, and advocates.
